Anatomic NT is used on the Vaude Powder Light 32 and is close fitting, stable and shock absorbing when you fall. Whether you are a snow walker, a backcountry skier or a freestyle snowboarder, your ski backpack will need to include some or all of the following features. Attachment points for fixing skis or a snowboard. Access to the backpack when skis are fixed. Goggle pocket, hydration system, potential to remove hip belt for use with climbing harness. Helmet carry and snow shovel.

The Vaude Snow Walker 35 also has front and side attachment points for securing snowshoes. The fabric needs to tough to withstand multiple falls and the back system close fitting and comfortable. The Snow Walker 35 uses the Aeroflex Flash system. This is adjustable as well as providing maximum ventilation, ideal for skiing or snowboarding where the user can generate a lot of body heat in a short space of time.
