In the family tent range, the Vaude Badawi uses waterproof 100% Polyester 75D 185T Polyurethan coated, with a 3000mm hydrostatic head and Aluminium poles with the specification 6061/7001.

Vaude make tents that are designed for backpacking, such as the Vaude Power Taurus Ultralight, this utilises their unique Powerframe technology and has been tested to withstand winds of 80mph. For lightweight tents weighing in at just 1kg, the Vaude Power Tokee Ultralight is hard to beat. The flysheet is tough and superlight using a siliconised Ripstop 20D Polyamid. This fabric has changed the nature if lightweight camping.
